Working with local authorities

In 2018, we have worked to link Her Turn and His Chance participants with their respective newly elected representatives in Rural Municipalities. During these dialogues, girls and boys presented their concerns, ideas, and recommendations to five Rural Municipalities: Helambu, Indrawati, Panchpokhari, Bhotekoshi and Jugal. These dialogues were facilitated by our Social Mobilizers and involved other relevant local stakeholders, such as Parent Teacher Associations, School Management Committees, Mothers’ Groups, or Gender Based Violence Watch Groups.
